Michael Rubino

Composer of the hit Nickelodeon series “It’s Pony!” Michael Rubino is well known to be a consummate professional who is brilliant, tireless, and always willing to go the extra mile to satisfy everyone he works for. We are proud to announce that Michael is currently the lead composer/arranger for the new music installation in the reimagined ToonTown "land" of Disneyland.   

Michael has extensive experience recording live musicians, having recorded up to 100-piece orchestras and choirs at studios such as the iconic Abbey Road Studio on projects for Disney, Marvel, and DC just to name a few.

Michael has also formed close personal relationships with the music contractors, music prep services, recording, mixing and mastering engineers that work on tentpole films day in and day out. Michael has recorded on a wide array of studios and scoring stages both here in Los Angeles and around the world. For smaller scale projects, Michael has his own high-end studio in Brentwood that offers a live room where he has recorded strings, drums, vocals, and big band instruments.
