Gregg Leonard


Gregg Leonard formed Taro Entertainment in 2001 after 25 years working as a musician, engineer and producer. The company has since become positioned as an innovative presence in the worlds of music supervision, film score composition and licensing of both original compositions and existing masters. Combining his talents as a producer, composer and supervisor with his access to a huge array of independent music, Leonard has established Taro as a full service, one-stop shop to meet any productions musical needs.
In 2005 Leonard completed work on the Marvel Comics/ Lions Gate production of Man Thing on which he worked as music supervisor, in addition to producing several songs for the film’s soundtrack and score. In 2005/06 he composed and recorded the score for the film Feed (Becker International). He also served as the film’s music supervisor and soundtrack producer.
At Big Sky Recording, Leonard continues a decade long career which ranges from such diverse projects as a producer for the nationally syndicated weekly radio show Acoustic Café to the creation and production of a cartoon special sound effects library for noted Hollywood sound specialist Frank Serafine.
